ഗൂഗിള്‍ പ്ലേ സ്റ്റോറിലെ 104 ആന്‍ഡ്രോയിഡ് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകളില്‍ അപകടകാരിയായ വൈറസുകളുണ്ടെന്ന് റഷ്യന്‍ വിദഗ്ധരുടെ കണ്ടെത്തല്‍. Android.Spy.277.origin എന്ന മാരക വൈറസാണ് ഈ ആപ്പുകളിലുള്ളതായി കണ്ടെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
റഷ്യന്‍ ആന്റി വൈറസ് സ്ഥാപനമായ ‘ഡോ വെബ്’ ആണ് ഇക്കാര്യം കണ്ടെത്തിയത്. വൈറസ് ബാധിച്ച ആപ്പുകള്‍ പ്ലേ സ്‌റ്റോറില്‍ നിന്നും 32 ലക്ഷം തവണ ഡൗണ്‍ലോഡ് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ടെന്നും ഡോ വെബ് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
സ്മാര്‍ട്ട് ഫോണുകളിലെ സ്വകാര്യ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ചോര്‍ത്താനും പരസ്യങ്ങള്‍ പ്രദര്‍ശിപ്പിക്കാനും സാധിക്കുന്നതാണ് ഈ വൈറസുകള്‍. ഗെയിമുകള്‍, മെസേജിംഗ് സര്‍വീസുകള്‍, ഇമേജ് എഡിറ്റിംഗ് ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനുകള്‍, വീഡിയോ പ്ലയര്‍ തുടങ്ങി 104 ജനപ്രിയ ആപ്പുകളിലാണ് വൈറസ് ബാധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഫോണിന്റെ ഐഎംഇഐ നമ്പര്‍, യൂസര്‍ എവിടെയെന്നുള്ള വിവരം, ജിമെയില്‍ വിലാസം, ഗൂഗിള്‍ ക്ലൗഡ് മെസേജിംഗ് ഐ.ഡി തുടങ്ങിയവയും ചോര്‍ത്തുമെന്നാണ് കണ്ടെത്തല്‍. ഈ ആപ്പുകള്‍ ഓരോ തവണ തുറക്കുമ്പോഴും വിവരങ്ങള്‍ വൈറസ് ഹാക്കറുടെ സെര്‍വറിലേക്ക് അയയ്ക്കും. തങ്ങളുടെ കണ്ടെത്തല്‍ ഡോ വെബ് ഗൂഗിളിനെ അറിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
