A video is out showing a woman being tortured by relatives. Reason ? The latest of the two children she has is also a girl. The woman told police, her husband and in-laws started to thrash her after the first baby girl was born. Then after delivering the second child, also a girl, the torture escalated.
In the footage, two women are seen shouting abuses at the victim, kicking and beating her. All the time, the victim woman is heard crying aloud.
The incident is set in Mahad district of Uttar Pradesh. Police have registered case and begun investigations.
