Anup Bhandari who is primarily known for directing Kannada movies is all set to release his latest directorial venture, ‘Vikrant Rona’ worldwide on July 28th, 2022. The trailer of the upcoming 3D movie was released in multiple languages following a trailer launch event earlier on Thursday. Sudeep Sanjeev, popularly known as Kiccha Sudeep who is the recipient of the Best Actor Filmfare award for three consecutive years, and Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez can be seen in the lead roles alongside Nirup Bhandari, Neetha Ashok, and Abhinay Raj Singh.
The much-awaited trailer garnered huge audience attention as soon as it was released on all streaming platforms. Pan-India reach of south Indian movies has been the talk of the town ever since the success of the Bahubali franchise, Pushpa, RRR, and KGF 2. This adventurous, action-packed trailer shows that ‘Vikrant Rona’ might become the next big blockbuster because of its unique concept, impressive visuals, and a great storyline.
During the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Kiccha Sudeep touched on the topic of the commercial success of Pan-India movies for which he said, “There is commerciality in every state. We watch all the OTT platforms and if Covid-19 didn’t happen, you would not have been aware of Korean shows. The Kannada industry is surviving well for a very long time, it is not South India, all films deserve Pan India release”.
The makers have also announced that all the background scores and songs for the film have been composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath who received the Best Music Director award in 2015. Bollywood actor Salman Khan will be launching the movie in Hindi purely because of his confidence in the film, said the actor.
