The National Investigation Agency(NIA) has announced Rs 25-lakh bounty for any information leading to arrest of Dawood Ibrahim, the mafia gangster and drug king pin who was declared as global terrorist in 2003.
NIA offer additionally includes Rs 20 lakh on Dawood’s lieutenant Chhota Shakeel.
Dawood heads a organised crime syndicate by the name D-Company and is number three on “The World’s 10 Most Wanted Fugitives” list. He wanted in several cases of murder, extortion, targeted killing, drug trafficking and terrorism.
Chase for Dawood heated up after 1993 serial bombings that rocked Mumbai, but the fugitive has, up until now, remained one step ahead of law.
