Salary disbursements begin at the state transport corporation of KSRTC. 75 percent of July salaries for the corporation’s permanent employees have been remitted so far. Rupees 55 crores 87 lakh and 20 thousand were sanctioned by the government for the purpose.
The decision to distribute the pending dues for the month of July and August was arrived at a meeting held by the CM with representatives of TDF (INTUC), CITU, and BMS. The government also informed that arrangements will be made to distribute the salary before the 5th of every month.
The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) had on Monday distributed 75 percent of pending salary for the month of July to its employees ahead of the meeting. The salary was distributed to 24,477 permanent employees.
