പത്തനംതിട്ടയിലെ പന്തളം കുളനട ആറന്മുള റൂട്ടില്‍ പൈവഴിയില്‍ മണ്ണുമാന്തി യന്ത്രം മറിഞ്ഞ് അപകടം. ഒരാള്‍ മരിച്ചു. ബംഗാള്‍ സ്വദേശി സൂരജ് ആണ് മരിച്ചത്. സൂരജ് മണ്ണുമാന്ത്രി യന്ത്രത്തിന്റെ അടിയിൽ പെടുകയായിരുന്നു.
കൂടിക്കിടന്ന മണ്ണ് നീക്കം ചെയ്യുകയായിരുന്ന മണ്ണുമാന്തി യന്ത്രമാണ് അപകടത്തില്‍പെട്ടത്. പന്തളം പൊലീസും ചെങ്ങന്നൂര്‍, അടൂര്‍ ഫയര്‍ സ്റ്റേഷനില്‍ നിന്ന് ഫയര്‍ ഫോഴ്‌സും സ്ഥലത്തെത്തി.
