ഇടുക്കിയിൽ കടുവ കുഴിയിൽ വീണു; കൂട്ടിന് ഒരു നായയും

ഇടുക്കി മൈലാടുംപാറയ്ക്ക് സമീപം കടുവ കുഴിയിൽ വീണു. കേരള തമിഴ്നാട് അതിർത്തിയിൽ സ്വകാര്യ വ്യക്തിയുടെ ഏലത്തോട്ടത്തിലെ കുഴിയിലാണ് കടുവ കുടുങ്ങിയത്. വനം വകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോ​ഗസ്ഥർ സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തി. കടുവയെ പിടികൂടുന്നതിനുള്ള ശ്രമങ്ങൾ പുരോ​ഗമിക്കുകയാണ്.

ഇന്ന് പുലർച്ചെയാണ് കടുവ ഏലത്തോട്ടത്തിലെ കുഴിയിൽ വീണത്. ഒരു നായയും കുഴിയിൽ കടുവയ്ക്ക് ഒപ്പമുണ്ട്. നായയെ വേട്ടയാടുന്നതിനിടെയിൽ കുഴിയിൽ വീണതാകാമെന്നാണ് പ്രാഥമിക നി​ഗമനം. പ്രദേശത്ത് വനം വകുപ്പ് നിയന്ത്രണം ഏർപ്പെടുത്തി. മയക്കുവെടി വയ്ക്കുന്നതിന് മുമ്പ് കൂട് വച്ച് കടുവയെ പിടികൂടാൻ കഴിയുമോ എന്ന് പരിശോധിക്കുമെന്ന് വനം വകുപ്പ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.
