നെന്മേനി പഞ്ചായത്ത്‌ 12 വാർഡ് കോൺഗ്രസ്‌ ഐ പ്രസിഡൻ്റ് ചീരാൽ മണ്ഡലം കമ്മറ്റി അംഗം ഗിരീഷ് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് പാര്‍ട്ടി വിട്ടു. ജനവിരുദ്ധ നയങ്ങളിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചാണ് പാര്‍ട്ടി വിട്ടത്. ഇനി മുതല്‍ സി പി ഐ എമ്മിൽ ചേർന്ന് പ്രവർത്തിക്കും. സി പി ഐ എം ജില്ലാ കമ്മിറ്റി അംഗം സുരേഷ് താളൂർ മാലയിട്ട് സ്വീകരിച്ചു. പി കെ രാമചന്ദ്രൻ ചെമ്പതാക കൈമാറി.
