തദ്ദേശ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിൽ കാസർഗോഡ് ജില്ലയിൽ മനസാക്ഷി വോട്ടിന് ആഹ്വാനം ചെയ്ത് കേരള കോൺഗ്രസ് ജോസഫ് വിഭാഗം. സീറ്റ് വിഭജനത്തിൽ യു ഡി എഫ് അവഗണിച്ചതിൽ പ്രതിഷേധിച്ചാണ് തീരുമാനം.
പാർട്ടിക്ക് സ്വാധീനമുള്ള 7 പഞ്ചായത്തുകളിലും ഒരു മുനിസിപ്പാലിറ്റിയിലും ഓരോ സീറ്റ് വീതമാണ് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത്. എന്നാൽ ഒരു സീറ്റ് പോലും നൽകിയില്ല. യുഡിഎഫിൽ മുസ്ലിം ലീഗും കോൺഗ്രസും തന്നിഷ്ടം കാണിച്ച് സീറ്റ് വീതം വെക്കുകയാണെന്നും കേരള കോണ്ഗ്രസ് ജോസഫ് വിഭാഗം ആരോപിച്ചു.
