കോഴിക്കോട് ദേശീയപാതയിൽ നിർത്തിയിട്ട ലോറിയിൽ മറ്റൊരു ലോറിയിടിച്ചു ഒരാൾ മരിച്ചു. കാലിക്കറ്റ് യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി കാക്കഞ്ചേരിക്കടുത്ത് ചെട്ടിയാർമാടിൽ ദേശീയപാത ആറുവരിപ്പാതയിലാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്.
മംഗലാപുരം ഉള്ളാൽ സ്വദേശി ഉമറുൽ ഫാറൂഖാണ് അപകടത്തിൽ മരിച്ചത്. ലോറിയുടെ പൊട്ടിയ ടയർ മാറ്റുന്നതിനിടെ പിന്നിൽ ചെങ്കല്ല് ലോഡുമായെത്തിയ മറ്റൊരു ലോറി ഇടിച്ചാണ് അപകടം ഉണ്ടായത്. പരിക്കേറ്റ മറ്റു രണ്ടു പേരെ കോഴിക്കോട് മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ആശുപത്രിയിൽ പ്രവേശിപ്പിച്ചു.
One person died after a lorry that was parked on the Kozhikode National Highway collided with another lorry. The accident occurred on the six-lane National Highway at Chettiyarmad near Calicut University Kakancheri. The deceased has been identified as Umarul Farooq, a native of Ullal, Mangalore. The accident occurred when another lorry carrying red stones hit the lorry while it was changing its flat tire. The other two injured persons have been admitted to the Kozhikode Medical College Hospital.
