പാലക്കാട്ടെ പല വാർഡുകളിലും പണം വാങ്ങി സീറ്റ് കച്ചവടം നടത്തിയെന്ന് മഹിളാ കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവിൻ്റെ ആരോപണം. പാലക്കാട് ഡിസിസിക്കെതിരെയാണ് മഹിള കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാവ് രംഗത്തെത്തിയത്. പാലക്കാട് പിരായിരിയിലെ മുൻ കൗൺസിലറും മഹിളാ കോൺഗ്രസ് ജില്ലാ ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറിയുമായ പ്രീജാ സുരേഷിൻ്റെതാണ് ആരോപണം.

പിരായിരി പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ കൊടുന്തിരപ്പുള്ളി വാർഡിൽ സീറ്റ് നൽകാമെന്ന് തനിക്ക് ഉറപ്പ് നൽകി. എന്നാൽ പണം വാങ്ങി ഡിസിസി നേതൃത്വം മറ്റൊരാൾക്ക് സീറ്റ് നൽകിയെന്ന് ശ്രീജ സുരേഷ് ആരോപിച്ചു.
