ഷൊർണൂരിൽ നിന്നും തൃശ്ശൂരിലേക്കുള്ള റെയിൽവേ ട്രാക്കിൽ മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ. മണ്ണ് വീണ് ട്രെയിൻ ഗതാഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടു. വടക്കാഞ്ചേരി റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനും മുള്ളൂർക്കര റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനും ഇടയിൽ അകമല റെയിൽവേ ഓവർബ്രിഡ്ജിന് സമീപമാണ് മണ്ണിടിഞ്ഞത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ മഴക്കാലത്ത് മണ്ണിടിഞ്ഞതിനെ തുടർന്നുള്ള സംരക്ഷണഭിത്തി നിർമ്മാണ പുരോഗമിക്കുന്നതിനിടയിലാണ് വീണ്ടും മണ്ണിടിച്ചിൽ. തൃശ്ശൂർ ഭാഗത്തേക്ക് പോകുന്ന ട്രാക്കിൽ ഗതാഗതം തടസ്സപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. റെയിൽവേ ജീവനക്കാർ സ്ഥലത്ത് എത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
