തമിഴ്‌നാട്ടിലെ തിരുച്ചിറപ്പള്ളിയില്‍ വാഹനം പാര്‍ക്ക് ചെയ്യുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള തര്‍ക്കത്തിനിടയില്‍ മൂന്നുവയസുകാരനെ അയല്‍വാസി കിണറ്റിലറിഞ്ഞു. പിന്നാലെ കിണറ്റിലേക്ക് ചാടി അമ്മ കുഞ്ഞിനെ സാഹസികമായി രക്ഷിച്ചു. സമയപുരം ഇരുങ്കലൂര്‍ സ്വദേശി മെര്‍ലിനാണ് കുഞ്ഞിനെ വെള്ളത്തില്‍ നിന്നും കയ്യിലെടുത്ത ശേഷം കിണറ്റിലെ പൈപ്പില്‍ പിടിച്ച് കിടന്നത്. മെര്‍ലിന്റെ നിലവിളി കേട്ടെത്തിയവര്‍ ഇരുവരെയും രക്ഷപ്പെടുത്തി. അയല്‍വാസിയായ ജോണി മില്‍ട്ടനാണ് കുഞ്ഞിനെ കിണറ്റിലിട്ടത്. ഇയാളെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
A three-year-old boy was thrown into a well by a neighbor during an argument over parking in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.The mother then jumped into the well and rescued the baby.
