എൻ സി ഇ ആർ ടിയുടെ പാഠപുസ്തകത്തിന്റെ ഉള്ളടക്കത്തിൽ ആശങ്ക പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ച് സുപ്രീംകോടതി. ‘ജുഡീഷ്യറിയിലെ അഴിമതി’ എന്ന പാഠഭാഗത്തിനെതിരെ സുപ്രീം കോടതി സ്വമേധയാ കേസെടുത്തു. എട്ടാംക്ലാസിലെ സാമൂഹികശാസ്ത്ര പാഠപുസ്തകത്തിലെ ‘ജുഡീഷ്യറിയിലെ അഴിമതി’ എന്ന ഭാഗത്തിലാണ് സ്വമേധയാ സുപ്രീം കോടതി കേസെടുത്തത്. വിഷയം കോടതി സ്വമേധയാ പരിഗണിക്കുമെന്നും ചീഫ് ജസ്റ്റിസ് സൂര്യകാന്ത് വ്യക്തമാക്കി.
