The Kerala government has announced a fresh reshuffle in the state’s top IPS ranks. Balram Kumar Upadhyay has been appointed as the new Director General of the Fire and Rescue Services, filling the vacancy created by the retirement of Nitin Agrawal. Yogesh Gupta will take over as the Managing Director of BEVCO. Meanwhile, S. Sreejith is likely to be promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP), with the official order expected to be issued soon.
