A few days back singer/songwriter Charlie Puth published a teaser video informing about the release of a new song – Left and Right – as a result of a collaboration with the globally known Idol – Jeon Jungkook of BTS. The song came out today and has already wreaked havoc across social media platforms and music streaming services by trending everywhere.
Left And Right is the third trailer single from Charlie’s upcoming, self-titled third studio album Charlie, which is expected later this year. It follows the first two songs “Light Switch” and “That’s Hilarious”, out of which Light Switch garnered #27 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is already trending under the category of music on Twitter and has already surpassed 30,000 likes on MelOn – a Korean Music streaming application. The song is at #1 on Spotify’s ‘Pop Rising’ playlist and has hit #1 on iTunes in 50 countries and counting.
Ever since BTS had announced that they would be taking a break to focus on solo projects, the members have been actively pursuing this statement, including Jungkook. This could be the beginning of a lot more solo work from the singer. The Music Video (MV) has already crossed 4.5 million views and is currently at 1.7 million likes on YouTube.
